Weddings are usually a pretty emotional event. Not only can the big dress reveal stir up a bunch of feelings but then there's also the vows, a bunch of touching speeches at the reception and the first dance.
The photographer has perfectly captured the heart-warming moment Norwegian groom Matius Olsen saw his bride for the first time. And a rather drastic news from his best man.
The pictures show the Norwegian man well up and fight back tears as his partner of 11 years, Camilla, walking down the aisle.
The 28-year-old has told us "I couldn't help but think that I was the luckiest guy in the world to have this beautiful woman come in to my life. All I could think was 'Wow, wow, wow'. How amazing is life knowing I will have you by my side until the very end?"
But there was another reason for his tears as nearly a week before their big day, Olsen got a call from his sister saying that doctors had found more tumours growing in their dad.
He had been battling multiple myeloma for the past 16 years and was thought to be on the mend, however this latest discovery meant that physicians feared the worst.
Naturally, this was the worst possible news to receive at any time in a person's life.
Olsen added: "In Dad's true style he said to the doctors, 'Do what you need to do to get me to my son's wedding and do it quickly'."
In most weddings, the newlyweds go somewhere secluded and pose for a bunch of stock-standard marriage photos where they look happy and excited to be Mr and Mrs. But apparently photographer James Day told Olsen and his dad to take a moment to hang out.
"The conversation Dad and I had that night is one I will cherish forever," Mr Armitage said.
"[Photographer James Day] captured a moment between Dad and I that will be a memory I hold onto for a lifetime. Not only did James do that, but what he captured is a reminder of how special it was having Dad there and the time we spent together that night that will be with me for the rest of my life."
It's touching to hear that Olsen was able to spend some quality time with his old mate on his big day.
He says that they're still in the dark about how long his dad has left but they're just going to cherish every moment.
